The Project Fund provides $840 CAD to help artists stop putting their dream project on hold and start bringing it to life. Use this grant for one creative project such as an animation, book, comic series, creating a product, or a portfolio piece that needs a push to completion. This grant will be given in 2 parts including a check-in for progress.
To apply for this grant, you must:
✓ Be 18 years or older
✓ Be one of the lead artist(s) if project involves a team
✓ Create illustrated visual art where drawing is the main process
✓ Have an existing artist presence with a portfolio and social media
✓ Be actively pursuing art as a career and not a hobby
✓ Face minor financial barriers outside of your control
✓ Have a project pitch, production schedule, and itemized budget
✓ Comfortable crediting Artist Ally and showing our logo for promotional purposes
This grant is not for:
✗ Emergency situations or urgent funding needs
✗ Artists just beginning to explore art
✗ Photography, performance, music, fashion, crafts, or non-illustrated work
✗ Projects at the ideation state with no solid plans
✗ Projects that need urgent funding before December 31st, 2026
