The Survival Pack grant provides $200 CAD to visual artists who are struggling with basic living expenses and can benefit from some breathing room. This small grant helps ease immediate stress with no strings attached or progress updates required. It can be used towards rent, utilities, food, supplies, anything that keeps you going!

⚠️ Eligibility

To apply for this grant, you must: ✓ Be 18 years or older ✓ Create illustrated visual art where drawing is the main process ✓ Have an existing artist presence with portfolio and social media ✓ Be actively pursuing art as a career and not a hobby ✓ Face minor financial barriers outside of your control

This grant is not for: ✗ Emergency situations or urgent funding needs ✗ Artists just beginning to explore art ✗ Photography, performance, music, fashion, crafts, or non-illustrated work

📆 Deadlines

Grant Cycle: March 16 - June 30, 2026 Amount: $200 CAD per grantee

Selection Dates:

April 30: 3 grantees [Thanks to donors for 1 additional grantee!] May 31: 2 grantees June 30: 2 grantees

You only need to apply once during this cycle. For example, if you submit your application in March, you will automatically be considered for all remaining selection dates. You do not need to reapply.
