The Visibility Boost grant provides $350 CAD to help independent visual artists expand their reach. Use this grant for marketing, convention costs, merch production, equipment upgrades, or any tools that helps you build your brand. A brief update will be required 1 month after receiving funds to share how the grant has helped you.
To apply for this grant, you must:
✓ Be 18 years or older.
✓ Create illustrated visual art where drawing is the main process.
✓ Have an existing artist presence with portfolio and social media
✓ Be actively pursuing art as a career and not a hobby
✓ Face minor financial barriers outside of your control
✓ Have a specific visibility or growth plan for your brand/business
This grant is not for:
✗ Emergency situations or urgent funding needs
✗ Artists just beginning to explore art
✗ Photography, performance, music, fashion, crafts, or non-illustrated work
✗ One-time creative projects - Please apply to Project Fund grant when it's available.
Grant Cycle: March 16 - June 30, 2026
Amount: $350 CAD per grantee
Selection Dates:
April 30: 2 grantees [Thanks to donors for 1 additional grantee!]
June 30: 1 grantee
You only need to apply once during this cycle to qualify for all remaining deadlines.
